Dr Shailey Vora is a dedicated and highly skilled Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) with over 10 years of experience in aviation medicine and more than 20 years as a GP. Trained as a doctor in the UK, she began her aviation journey with Emirates Airline, working as both an AME and family physician, before returning to the UK, where she now practises as a qualified AME with the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
Dr Vora brings enthusiasm, insight, and extensive clinical expertise to her work, specialising in assessing the medical fitness of pilots, aircrew, and aviation professionals to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
Alongside her aviation role, Dr Vora is a GP Partner at Groves Health Medical Practice, where she provides thoughtful, patient-centred care informed by two decades of clinical
experience. She is an active member of the Aviation Medical Examiners (AAME) Committee and her Local Medical Committee (LMC), contributing to the development of strong educational and professional environments for both AMEs and GPs.
With her combined expertise in aviation health and general practice, Dr Vora delivers comprehensive, personalised medical assessments and care, supporting the unique needs

Services include CAA Class 1 pilots, Class 2 pilots, Class 3, LAPLs, Cabin Crew and other aviation medicals. Please note Class 1 initials are not performed at these clinics.
